TOGETHERHOOD BRISTOL

EMERGENCE IN PRACTICE

CO-DESIGN OF EMERGENT POSSIBILITIES

TOGETHERHOOD BRISTOL collectively explores the practice of co-design and its role in creating emergent futures. With a focus on creating spaces that provokes and develops practice, we aim to contribute towards and strengthen the participatory ecosystem in the city.

Stewarding work that nurtures new approaches, relationships and understanding, this community will centre co-design practice and emergent strategy to create the meaningful, inclusive and equitable systemic shifts we need.

between the people in collaboration,

the more

possibility you can hold.”

COLLECTIVE EXPLORATION

The foundation of this project is to better understand how we foster, with both intention and accountability, a more emergent approach to co-design, including how we commune, connect, capture and evaluate change initiatives at a community level.

CO-DESIGN IN EMERGENCE AS A DISCIPLINE

Developing the skills, practices and models in how emergence can be held and nurtured through effective co-design activity; applying emergent strategic principles to developing holistic and equitable co-design action.

CAPTURING VALUE AND RELATIONSHIPS

Co-produce a variety of frameworks for multi-agent partnerships that support the capture of impact, value and effects of co-designing across communities through applying emergent principles.

COLLECTIVE TRUST-BUILDING AND DECISION-MAKING

Intentionally build processes and practices that are visible, invites co-operation, and has a Commons Approach at its heart, with the aim to demonstrate the possibilities of a collective and collaborative future.

THE FUTURE IS COLLECTIVE

TOGETHERHOOD BRISTOL is collectively produced, organised and delivered by its membership. If you work in co-design, community engagement and development, participatory research or systems change, come and be a part of it.
