SPRING/SUMMER LEARNING CIRCLE IS NOW FULLY BOOKED

emergent strategy book club
Exploring the role of emergent strategy in shaping our co-design practices.
TOGETHERHOOD BRISTOL’s call to action is centred on emergence in practice, with a focus on creating spaces for existing and future co-design practitioners to collectively explore how emergent strategies can become a cornerstone for building our shared futures.
To support this exploration, we are proposing a book club learning circle; a small group of 8-10 folx to read, reflect and co-develop new working approaches from our collective learning.
This is not just a regular book club of digest and critique, but one of deep-dives, shared application and practical implementation. We will take the book section-by-section and translate the strategies into our own work.
Over the sessions – up to 6 in total – we will form a peer-to-peer support network, providing feedback for one another’s development, and produce a series of reflections and artefacts to be shared with the wider community.
If this is something you want to participate in, register your interest via the form below.

“One of the important things about Emergent Strategy is that I didn’t craft it out of thin air. I saw these processes happening around me. The parts about resilience and transformation are really about asking how we can design ways of being together that make it impossible for us to cause so much harm to each other. It’s not just about being more forgiving. We have to design structures; we have to design relationships; we have to design justice.”
